What are phrasal verbs? What are the similarity and difference between a verb phrase and a phrasal

1，phrasal verbs短語動詞：A phrasal verb is a verb plus a preposition or adverb which creates a meaning different from the original verb. 及物或不及物動詞與名詞，介詞，副詞等構成的新短語，新短語的意思不同於原動詞，牛津詞典裏面用PHR表示，

例如：I ran into my teacher at the movies last night. run + into = meet.

He ran away when he was 15. run + away = leave home

還有的短語動詞如come across, take over,take in, bring up....

2，verb phrase動詞短語： A phrase consisting of a verb, its auxiliaries, its complements, and other modifiers, as should be done with the exam by noon in the sentence The students should be done with the exam by noon. 壹般情況下動詞會搭配副詞，介詞，但並不構成新詞組。

例如：he takes the girl in 他帶女孩進了房間。這裏面in只表示壹個方向，可以翻譯為裏面，take為

謂語，意思沒有發生變化。

she took me in completely with her story.他的壹番花言巧語完全把我蒙騙了。take及物動詞

加介詞in構成新短語，take sb. in /take in sb.意思為欺騙，蒙騙。
