announce and give (details of a speaker or broadcast, programme, etc) to listeners or viewers (向聽眾或觀眾)宣布並介紹(演講者或廣播﹑ 節目等的細節)

~ sb to sth
lead sb up to the main part of sth 引導或帶領某人接觸某事物的主體
例句:The first lecture introduces new students to the broad outlines of the subject.
4.
~ sth (in/into sth)
bring sth into use or operation for the first time 初次投入使用或運作; 引進; 推行; 采用
例句:ntroduce a ban on smoking in public places
由此可見兩個說法都是正確的,只不過意思不同而已。
