2）other 與數目字並用時，應註意以下區別及數目字與other的排列順序。
如：
Give me two other books.(不能用Give me other two books.)給我（任何）兩本別的書。
Give him the two other pens.(或者用Give him the other two pens.)給他其他那兩支筆。
3）other 作為代詞時，復數是others，表示“別的（人或物）”，“其余的（人或物）”。
如：
Of the four boys,one is in Grade One,the others are in Grade Two.
在這四個男孩子中，壹個是壹年級，其他的（三個）是二年級。
2、the other指的是兩個人或兩件東西中的“另壹個”。
例如：
He has a book in one hand,and a pen in the other.他壹只手拿著壹本書，另壹只手拿著壹支鋼筆。（人只有兩只手。）
Where is the other glove?另外壹只手套在哪兒？
