Oh, I have slipped the 1)surly 2)bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed and joined the 3)tumbling 4)mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of; 5)wheeled and 6)soared and swung
High in the sun-lit silence. 7)Hovering there
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through 8)footless halls of air;
Up, up the long, 9)delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,
Where never 10)lark nor even eagle flew;
And while, with silent lifting mind I’ve 11)trod
The high 12)untrespassed 13)sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God. CE
02、高高翺翔
哦，我逃出陰沈的土地鐐銬
乘著雙翼與銀鈴笑聲在天空起舞；
迎著太陽我高攀回旋在
灑落陽光的歡樂雲層間——我做了無數
妳不曾夢想過的事情；盤旋、高轉
在透亮的寂靜裏。在那裏翺翔
我追逐呼嘯的風，
熱望恣意穿越空中廳堂;
高飛，高飛在無邊的、欣喜若狂的、燃燒的藍天上
我如此從容如此優雅地踏上風所能到達的巔峰，
雲雀不曾到過此處，鷹不曾在這裏飛翔；
而靜靜的升騰的感情領我步入
天地高不可及的聖潔裏
伸出手，我觸碰到了神之面孔。CE
