From the begining of last decade of the 20th century, there are two main trends attracting the focus of the international societies: the first is the global environmental protection movement with the symbol as the first UNCED held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1992; the second is the trend of economy globalization ,the begining of which was marked by the setup of the WTO. There are collisions and exchanges between these two trends rushing forwards, bringing forward the problems of the trade and environmental protection which arouse great attention among the international societies.As the biggest exportation country, china always faces the confliction with other states due to the Green trade barrier. The topic of avoiding the non-trade barrier is becoming the hotspot discussed in the world. On the other hand as to import,though in china people begin to pay more attention to environmental frindly movement, and the government releases several policies step by step as well,china is still at the beginning with low speed of the progress. The task of guaranteeing the imported product being environment-friendly is located at the same level as to solving the problem of avoiding the cost referring to the Green Trade Barrier of other contries. Based upon the basis of sufficient analysis of the background of the environment-friendly import, the present situation and the shortcoming of chinese environment-friendly protection, this text studys and consultes the environmental protection methods and means of the developed countries, with ideas and plans for the purpose of chinese environmental protection aim being completed, and protecting the legal interests of china.
