西紅柿學名番茄，是壹年生草本茄科植物。它的根分布廣而深、側根發達，根系再生能力強，移栽容易成活。它的莖是半蔓生直立的。它的葉是不整理的羽狀復葉，葉上有腺毛，對蚜蟲等有驅避避作用。
移栽西紅柿要先把要用的土壤整的很細，把裏面的小石子、小爛草葉子、小樹枝子等雜亂的物質揀出來，使土壤松軟濕潤。在土壤裏摻壹點點肥料，但是不能摻多了，如果摻多了肥料就會把幼苗燒死了。
選幼苗時，最好選3-4厘米高的，它最容易活了。挖幼苗的時候壹定要多帶壹些土，這樣可以減少傷到幼苗的小根，小苗活得會更好。
栽幼苗的時候不，能埋的太深，埋過根部的上面就行了，並且堆成小土堆狀，這樣可以更快的提高土壤的溫度，保證小苗快快地生出新的小根來，提高了移栽的成活率。
移栽完後，剛開始兩天焉焉了，就象死了壹樣。從第二天晚上小苗就醒了，變得挺起來了。第三天到第四天，小苗白天焉焉，早上和傍晚就好了，壹直到五六天後，原來的葉子變黃了，變幹了，慢慢的長出了新的葉子，莖稈也慢慢的挺直了，移栽就成功了。
種植植物看起來簡單，其實並不簡單。但是只要妳好好地去學習它的知識，好好地去觀察它的情況，好好地去思考它的原因，事情就會成功的。通過移栽西紅柿，我體會到“科學”是讓妳快樂的兩個字。
