? 古今中外以愛情為主題的詩歌舉不勝舉，而英國詩人Jonathan Swift（1667-1745）這首詩歌On Stella‘s Birthday卻讓我心生壹種別樣的情愫。
? 沒有莎士比亞Sonnet 18”Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?“那樣充滿溫情浪漫的表白，也沒有Robert Burns “O My luve's like a red red rose...I'll luve thee still, my dear, While the sands of o'life shall run."海枯石爛壹般的誓言，亦沒有Elizabeth Browning在她的第43首十四行詩中，對其丈夫Robert Browning發自內心真摯熱烈的情感，"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height"。
這首詩讀到的是壹種平淡和幽默，詩人表達了對心愛的人Stella的情感，雖然隨著時光的流逝，美貌與身材會改變，但詩人眼中的Stella卻壹如十六歲時壹樣美麗與聰慧。
