（2）garden:用“花園”來比喻俊秀姑娘的面容，暗示出她的美麗和聖潔－－這也是歌頌人的美麗和偉大。“花園”的意象使人想到《創世紀》中的伊甸園，以及《雅歌》中的“花園”。參見《雅歌》（4:12）:\"A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse,\"我的妹子，我的新婦，乃是關鎖的園，斯賓塞在《愛情小詩》第64首中也曾寫過：“Coming to kiss her lips--such grace I found--/Me seemed I smelled a garden of sweet flowers.\"我去吻她的唇－－我得到這樣的恩賜－－/我仿佛聞到了滿園的花香。
