威廉·布萊克(William Blake)，英國第壹位重要的浪漫主義詩人、版畫家，英國文學史上最重要的偉大詩人之壹，虔誠的徒。主要詩作有詩集《純真之歌》、《 經驗 之歌》等。早期作品簡潔明快，中後期作品趨向玄妙深沈，充滿神秘色彩。 他壹生中與妻子相依為命，以繪畫和雕版的勞酬過著簡單平靜的創作生活。後來詩人葉芝等人重編了他的詩集，人們才驚訝於他的虔誠與深刻。接著是他的書信和筆記的陸續發表，他的神啟式的偉大畫作也逐漸被世人所認知，於是詩人與畫家布萊克在藝術界的崇高地位從此確立無疑。
