Thanksgiving Day 感恩節由來與風俗
每年11月份的第四個星期四是Thanksgiving Day（感恩節）。它是美國人民獨創的壹個節日。美國人在感恩節中壹定要合家歡聚，就像中國人過年壹樣，強調團團圓圓。所以感恩節是美國最重要的節日之壹。
感恩節是怎樣產生的呢？
早在1620年，壹些在英國受到宗教迫害的清教徒乘船來到美洲。但是當年的冬天就讓他們遇到了跨越不了的困難處境。饑餓和寒冷使他們壹半人都失去了生命。此時，心地善良的印第安人給他們送來生活必需品，還教會了他們種植、狩獵等等生存技巧。終於，這些移民堅強地存活下來。為了感謝印地安人的幫助，在豐收的那壹年，移民邀請印第安人壹起慶祝。這就是感恩節。
