[釋義] 和尚多，而供和尚喝的粥少。比喻物少人多，不夠分配。
[語出] 清·西周生《醒世姻緣傳》第六十二回：“師爺的席面是看得見的東西，再要來壹個撞席的，便就僧多粥薄，相公就不夠吃了。”
