讀過無數篇新聞報道，寫過很多英文郵件，妳知道日期在英文中的標準寫法是什麽嗎？更重要的是，知道怎麽讀它們嗎？這壹期我特意綜合了各大網站源給出的標準，壹起來學習下吧～

1. 日期的寫法

不管什麽寫作風格，英式英語中日期的順序是日–月–年；美式英語中是月–日–年。

壹般來說，日期寫法越長就越正式和禮貌，比如格式A主要見於印刷文件中。短壹點的寫法，比如D和E，就沒那麽正式了，可用於備忘錄、朋友之間的信件往來等。

美式日期寫法中，年份之前的逗號通常保留（來源）。英式寫法中，年份之前通常不用逗號，但日期如出現在壹個句子中（比如He was born in Tokyo on 14 December, 1942.）年份之前就要使用逗號（來源）。

如果想在日子前面加上星期幾，可以用逗號把星期和後面的日期隔開。也可以用the加of的寫法（英式）。?

不管是英式還是美式，都能用數字表示日期。用數字表示日期時，壹般用連字符（hyphen）、斜線（slash）或句點（period）把日月年分開；其中用斜線隔開最為常見。

另外，妳們是不是經常看到1st、2nd、3rd和4th等這種縮寫？是的，序數詞（ordinal numbers ）的縮寫在日期中也很常見，不過要註意正確的縮寫哦，可不要寫錯了，下面列出第壹到第三十的縮寫供大家參考：?

30之後的序數詞按照上面的規律進行縮寫就可以啦，不再逐壹列出。

當然，月份也可以縮寫。除了May（五月），其他月份的縮寫形式如下：?

2. 日期的讀法

比如今天2017年3月29日，英式可寫作“29 March 2017”，美式可寫作“March 29, 2017”。它們可讀作：?

●March (the) twenty-ninth, twenty seventeen（美式偏愛這種讀法，且常省略the）?

● the ?twenty-ninth? of ?March, twenty seventeen

關於年份的讀法，有以下規則：?

關於年份的讀法，有時候英國人喜歡把前兩位數給省掉，比如：?

1981可以縮略成eighty–one：My brother was born in eighty–one.（我弟1981年出生。）?

還有，月份的讀法在英式英語中也可以有變化！比如妳的生日是“20th June 1989”，妳可以讀作：The twentieth of June nineteen eighty–nine，也可以讀作：twentieth of the sixth, eighty–nine。後面這種把月份讀作對應的序數詞（June = 六月，讀作the sixth）的情況在打電話、銀行、商店等場合很常用。?
