One day, an old man was fishing by the river. A child went over to watch it. It seemed that the elderly was experienced in fishing. Therefore, he got a basket of fish in a short time.
The old man said:” you look so cute. Let me send u these fish as a present”
The child shook his head and said:” grandfather, I don’t want your fish”
Old man asked with astonishment:” my boy, how many fish would you want? Here is a full basket of fish. Why don’t you accept it? Not enough?”
The child’s face flushed. He answered with shyness:” grandfather, what I want is your fishing pole. “
The old man asked:” what are you going to do with it?”
The child said :” fish in the basket could be eaten up sooner or later. The reason why I want your fishing pole is that I could fish by myself if I had one. Therefore, I can have fish all the time.”
The story tells us: “it is not enough to have a fishing pole. The key is to learn how to fish. In other words, fishing pole is just a tool. Skills are the most important to us.”
