My body lurches into action
Uncontrollable adrenalin pumps through my veins, creating my speedy reaction
Coach is yelling, but I can't hear
The basketball is in my hands, I'm frozen with fear
There's not much time
I see Kara give me a sign
I look at the goal and my vision starts to spin
The moment has come, its time for us to win
My mind is set
I play with the defense causing them to fret
Suddenly there's an opening and I leap into hell
Up goes the ball...as I fall
The crowd roars and so does my team
This marks the ending of every basketball dream
